There’s not enough words in the local pub language to explain how cool this neighborhood pub is. Passing through on the motorcycle made a stop for a cocktail. They have a wonderful patio/ garden. friendly local folks enjoying stories and laughs. all around and the Barmaid was top-notch. If were passing through town, we would definitely stop again.
Amazing experience!! The food was perfect. I had only been here once before years ago. I ordered the cordon bleu and the french fries were homemade. Onion rings were amazing and the crab bites with jalapeno were fire. Bailey, our waitress was awesome and super informative. I highly recommend Dagwoods.
Older small bar/restaurant. Not a bright flashy place, but great atmosphere. Great bar food!! Probably not a place for kids
wait, a bacon burger for 4.50? serious? wait, burger, fries, and draft for 6.50? kidding? Oh, only Bud, or Miller. Ok. Condiments were free, and it was 50 cents to add lettuce, tomato, mayo (all 3) So, was it a restaurant quality, Kobe beef, quarter pounder with premium cheese? Of course not. It's cheap burger. But it tasted good. I would surely go back next time I'm in town. Fries were so so and Bud/Miller are definitely not my thing. I'd skip the 6.50 meal and just go for a burger. And add an app - wings were delicious and the mushroom fries were 8/10. Oh, and our server was super! No rays of sunshine, but super efficient, and quick. We didn't have to say it and she got it. Definitely re-visit! And sit outside next time.
I haven't been to Dagwoods in many years. I was happy to see that is exactly like it was xx years ago! It's a smaller sized old fashioned bar for those of you who have never been. It's not fancy, contentious, or high class, and it's wonderful!!! It's a loud & busy place, especially on game day. It was full when we arrived, standing room only. My sister & bil came in the back door and found a table that someone had just vacated. We started with the spicy feta dip & locally made tortilla chips. The dip was a bit spicier than I liked, but the chips were amazing!!! The burger was just as I remembered it. Nothing fancy about the burger or bun, simply a good greasy bar burger! The fries were okay. Hubbs and I split a basket, but a half basket would have been enough for the two of us. Even though it was busy, our waitress circled back from time to time to check on our drinks, and she was great!
My husband and I absolutely love coming here if we need a good burger! For the price they are absolutely AMAZING! We usually get cheeseburgers, fries, fried pickles, and brews. It's definitely a dive bar vibe and is usually packed so be prepared to wait a few minutes for a table to turn around

The food was really good and reasonably priced. I’d say cheap but I don’t want to convey the wrong message. The fried pickles were great, the burgers and fries were amazing. I’ve driven past this place for years and always wanted to stop. My girlfriend and I wanted to try somewhere neither of us had been. So glad she suggested it. Also picked up a couple of glasses of theirs. Definitely a return visit is needed. It is the quintessential corner bar. The place was busy when we were there but the wait for order and drinks wasn’t long.
